HWAVE Try-On Demo – Privacy Notice

This notice explains how HWAVE / IceCapApps (“HWAVE,” “we,” “our”) handles information in the HWAVE virtual try-on demo.

What we collect
• Uploaded photo (you provide): The image you upload to generate a try-on result.
• Generated result (we create): An AI-generated image showing the product on your photo.
• Optional email (waitlist): If you join our waitlist, we store your email and preferences.
• Basic technical data: Limited browser/device info and minimal logs needed to keep the demo secure and working. (We don’t collect IP addresses in the waitlist flow.)

How we use it
• Provide the demo: Process your uploaded photo to generate a try-on result.
• Let you view/download: Temporarily store the generated result so you can see and save it.
• Service communication: If you opt in, send updates about the product or demo.
• Security & performance: Keep the demo reliable, prevent abuse, and fix issues.

How photos are handled
• Your uploaded photo: Processed in memory and not saved to our databases or long-term storage. Any short-lived working copy is deleted within minutes after processing.
• Generated result image: Stored up to 7 days so you can access it. Results are delivered via time-limited signed URLs (no public links) and are deleted automatically after 7 days. You can ask us to delete a result sooner.

Sharing

We use trusted service providers (cloud hosting, storage, analytics, email) to run the demo. They may process data only to provide these services to us and must protect it.
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Model training & human review

We do not use your photos or generated images to train AI models without your explicit opt-in. We do not conduct human review of your personal photos.

Retention
• Uploaded photo: Ephemeral (minutes) during processing.
• Generated result image: Up to 7 days (auto-deleted).
• Waitlist email: Until you unsubscribe or after a period of inactivity.
• Security/performance logs: Kept only for short periods needed for troubleshooting and safety.

Our infrastructure providers necessarily process IP addresses to deliver the service. We do not store IP addresses in the waitlist flow, and any operational logs kept by us are short-retained for security and troubleshooting only.

Your choices
• Delete a result: Ask us to remove a specific generated image at any time.
• Email preferences: Unsubscribe from waitlist emails at any time.
• Access/erase: You can request a copy or deletion of your data.

Children

The demo is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child provided data, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

We may update this notice. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
